Corey Marks is the author of The Rock That Is Not a Rabbit, published in the Pitt Poetry Series, The Radio Tree, winner of the Green Rose Prize, and Renunciation, winner of the National Poetry Series selected by Philip Levine. He’s received a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Natalie Ornish Prize from the Texas Institute for Letters, and the Bernard F. Conners Prize from The Paris Review. A University Distinguished Teaching Professor at University of North Texas, he co-directs the graduate creative writing program for the School of Creative Writing and Performing Arts and coordinates the UNT Rilke Prize.
